Our spirituality and life as Daughters of the Heart of Mary is grounded in four maxims of the gospel:


"I do not ask that

you take them out world,

It is a call to choose a simple life, in the midst of the world, having Jesus as the center and end of our existence; to live, love and serve as he did, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
It invites us to a deep intimacy and friendship with Jesus and to the fraternal experience of being friends in the Lord, as sources of apostolic fruitfulness in a permanent search for the Father's will.
It has us, like Mary, listening to the Holy Spirit in availability for "any service, according to the need of times and places".
It is a profound Marian Spirituality as highlighted by our name, which reminds us of the respect and love we owe to the Virgin Mary as our mother, our guide and our model to follow.  Our hearts should feel that she is our refuge, the source from which we nourish our special way of living, loving and serving.
